Peter received his doctorate degree (Dr. rer. Nat.) in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Kassel in Germany. He was a postdoc at the Pennington Biomedical Research Center where he worked on several projects pertaining to research on the effects of botanical extracts on insulin resistance and the proteomics analysis of adipose-derived stem cells. Furthermore, he developed a cell culture-based model to study effects of inflammation on the glucose permeability in intestinal epithelial cells. Peter joined Javid and Keyon Janani to found DynaCord with the goal to bring FDA-approved exosome products to the market. Within the last few years, Peter established the DynaCord stem cell culture laboratory with ISO 5 cleanroom under cGMP guidelines, developed all protocols for the extraction and proliferation of umbilical cord stem cells and established a novel method of exosome isolation from stem cell culture medium. He wrote all standard operating procedures pertaining to the scientific work and operation of the laboratory. Peter will serve the company as Chief Scientific Officer.
